We will update this page frequently, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook or instagram (live stories)

All right, off we go.

We left for Switzerland! You can follow us via our tracking ,sponsored by Geodynamics.be

First battery drained.

Oct. 10, 01:45 AM First battery drained, currently we have a nice average of 40 km/h.
Jan is still feeling strong!

Checkpoint, Rochefort!

Oct. 10, 03:00 AM

We have already arrived in Rochefort, already 15 minutes ahead of schedule
Don’t forget our Facebook and instagram livestories.

We are almost in France.

Oct. 10, 04:45 AM

We are almost across the border, 186km far from our starting point. At least 420 to go. You can always send your encouragements at the bottom of this page.

Oh my Tree !

Oct. 10, 06:15 AM

A tree on the road,we could not moving it.
The Stromer can continue his route, we’ll see him later.

Still Going Strong

Oct. 10, 08:15 AM

We think this guy is on steroids, still alone and already 292km, +300 to go.
The landscape and elevation is changing.

Nancy, France

Oct. 10, 09:20 AM

One of the largest and busiest cities that we have to cross. As always, .. Car = traffic
The Stromer has built up a nice lead now.

We are near the “Ballon D’Alsace”, wish him luck!

Battery n° 6 or 7 ?

Oct. 10, 10:00 AM

We leave the city of Nancy, we are nice on schedule with our batteries, the consumption is even lower than expected.

Headwind

Oct. 10, 10:30 AM

We are still getting a thumbs up, a serious head wind at the moment.

356KM in the legs.

Almost 400KM !

Oct. 10, 11:22 AM

Driver switch, Ben is going to relieve Jan.
Jan is almost 12 hours straight on the bike, 391 km cycled, most of the time trough the rain. A little power nap will do him good.

Zet die kraan is toe!

Oct. 10, 01:20 PM

Ben retains the average well, he is almost at the Ballon d’alsace. The longest climb in our route.
He yells in Dutch “shut off the tap/rain”

PLAY MOVIE

Col ouvert!

Oct. 10, 01:35 PM

Ben can start his first climb / col ever.
No experience but he does have a Stromer ST3! Wondering how long it will take.

He's Flying

Oct. 10, 01:42 PM

Ok,… that’s fast.

Ballon d'Alsace Alt. 1165M

Oct. 10, 02:01 PM

24 minutes from the bottom to the top.

Fortunately our Stava is not on, K.O.M. steeler at the Ballon D’Alsace.
Remarkably how easy the Stromer ST3 behaves on a long climb.

It has started to rain harder again, be careful on this descent.

Sermamagny France

Oct. 10, 02:42 PM

Driver switch, Jan takes its over, his goal, to cover the remaining distance before 6:30PM

Last KM's in France.

Oct. 10, 03:37 PM

We can already smell the swiss cheese, last km’s in France. The hours are starting to take their toll, we have been driving for thirteen hours straight, surviving on sandwiches and biscuits.

We almost past the 500KM mark, the Stromer still works like a dream, not even a flat tire!

Lugnez Switzerland

Oct. 10, 03:50 PM

We have officially reached our destination! Switzerland! Just under 16 hours we reach the swiss border.
Because we do not have internet and roaming in Switzerland, we must continue with our offline maps.

Jan is now going to tackle the last climbs.

Undervelier, Switzerland

Oct. 10, 04:42 PM

We’ve just past a sign, road closed!
Turns out the top is closed, we have to go back. Two hours to go!

Bern, Switzerland

Oct. 10, 06:40 PM

We leave the busy evening rush of Bern, the evening falls.
I think we have proven something, what started as a joke a few weeks ago, look now we are in Switzerland!

Thank you everyone for your messages and support!

Arrived!

Oct. 10, 06:55 PM

We have arrived. Great! The Stromer staff is here to give us a warm applause.

We want to thank Anuschka for giving us Raclette and shelter for that night. Tomorrow morning we will leave for Belgium, in the car 😉 .
Our customers are waiting to drive their own Stromers!

We will see you soon in our showroom nearby in Brussels
